It’s Like Déjà vu all over again!

When Castrol Raceway announced their Inaugural IHRA Rocky Mountain Nationals, Dark Side Racing took it on as a personal challenge. We had a nine month lead time to assemble a complete Top Fuel racing operation and the clock was ticking. To us, the real race was the race that would get us to the starting line. We purchased a trailer and Crew Cab Dually (Thank You, Shaganappi GM) so that we could make the trip to Omaha Nebraska and purchase the Top Fuel Chassis. A few days before the event, we fired up our Top Fuel motor for the first time and come race day we made the fourth quickest pass of the event (13 Top Fuel dragsters showed up). With barely a spare part to our name, we accomplished our goal and made it to the end of the track.

IHRA has unveiled their new Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series for 2014 and announced their return to “competition”. This time around, Dark side Racing finds ourselves nine months ahead of schedule! We’ve armed ourselves with a new goal “Let’s win this damn race!” We’ve already assembled a rambunctious group of talented and dedicated crew members, which means all that’s left is to acquire is a short list of spare parts. Dark Side Racing will look to our Team Sponsors (old and new) for the assistance that will enable us to aggressively test and train for the next nine months and achieve our goal of bringing home the Ironman!
