Race Oil Pans – B/RB/Hemi

Wet Sump Pan

The basic rule here is to get the oil as far away from the crank as possible,
make the pan as large as area allows and put in the minimal amount of oil.

Dry Sump Pan

The idea here is to get some of the oil as far away from the crank
as possible by putting it in a remote sump.

Windage Tray

Most pans do try and strip as much oil as possible off of the crankshaft
generally using some type of baffle or series of them. However, making the baffles
removable and not attaching them to the crankshaft is more convenient.

Street Cars

Door cars with a cross member under the engine are limited
to the size and type of windage tray that they can use.
