Driven primarily by fantastic stand up comic performers of local and international fame, Calgary is ready to usher in the new year by bombarding your sixth sense of laughter with more than 100 well-rounded comic talents. There is a comedy showcase of talent every night with about eight performers per show!

Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival

Eleven days of non-juried uncensored performance, indoors and out. More than 120 theatre productions from all around the world fill 30 theatres, all in one funky, fabulous neighborhood.
Watch for circus performers on our outdoor stages, circus tents in our neighborhood. Stroll along Whyte Avenue, and take in more than 150 live shows in this quaint neighborhood known as Old Strathcona. While you’re there, be sure to take in Canada’s most unique form of live performance, theatre sports.Three city blocks are given over to street performance, outdoor stage activities, and food and crafts from all around the world.
